Embryo Shield HEPA Inline Filters feature a 0.1 µm HEPA filter, ensuring superior particle retention where smaller particle sizes result in higher particle counts in medical gases. Each lot is MEA and pH tested, and studies have shown that the use of Embryo Shield increases the number of embryos developing to the expanded blastocyst stage.

The filters contain washed Coconut Active Carbon, which offers a significantly higher absorption rate than coal-based activated carbon. The Coconut Active Carbon is washed six times with sterile water to maximise adsorption efficiency. Manufactured without adhesives or chemical materials, Embryo Shield ensures safe medical use and is produced in an ISO 13485:2016 certified facility.

Each Embryo Shield undergoes pressure testing as part of meticulous quality control standards. A built-in check valve connector ensures immediate gas flow upon connection and automatic shut-off when disconnected, providing added gas flow safety. Plug-and-play connectors and ergonomic magnetic holders allow for easy installation on gas lines.
